What customers say?

“ Food was delicious. But the flies were a bit much. I will definitely get it to go next time. The apple tart was delicious. I would have loved it warm. ”

“ A wonderful place to experience authentic Iranian cuisine and true Persian hospitality! The kebab was incredibly delicious, and the owner was very friendly. Highly recommended! ”

- David Lynch -

“ Family restaurant seems like it’s just the owner here. Very spiritual woman. Lots of books and Nick naks around. Only 4 tables on the inside. Best to order delivery or take out in my opinion. If you want Persian food in Beverly Hills and want to support local place this would be it. Also seems to have hookah and beer ”

- Bob Fang -

“ What a cute place in the flats of Beverly Hills. Hard to find in a cul de sac off Robertson. The best smoky babba ganoush I’ve ever had. I wish the pita was warmed a bit. I also had a melt-in-your-mouth Chicken Barg (marinated and grilled kabob. A must order. I got the Beef Koobideh too. Very good. Fresh. High quality. I just wanted it to be seasoned a bit more. The home made baklava is out of this world. ”

“ This is like your house kitchen. Very homy place and good food. Very nice lady and good hospitality. ”

“ Found Tehran at the end of a long walk today and couldn't remember the last time I had authentic Persian food so went inside. Ordered Cornish hen kebob as the main dish and Ash-e-Joe soup beforehand. Both of them were freshly made, hot, and full of flavors, especially the soup. The owners -- a married couple -- were super friendly. ”

- Joey Kulkin -

“ Update: stopped in on a visit to town, the soups were amazing, the blend of seasoning reminded me of home cooked meals i had in the Middle East. The stew was a pleasant surprise, it came with a large bowl of rice to mix it with, my rive dish was a perfect blend of spices and vegetables, a very vegan option Small but tastefully decorated, inside and outside seating, enough diversity on the menu but not so much that the entree is pre-made and frozen or refrigerated. I had the rice with currants, dates, raisins, lentils and chicken, the portions we were served were large and the rice was freshly made. The other entrees were equally ample. My mint tea and the Persian tea were served in glass as middle eastern tea should. The owners were friendly, we sat and and had an enjoyable conversation without feeling rushed. It has an authentic vibe and I highly recommend it. ”

“ It was our first experience in this family owned restaurant. The owner was a very nice and warm woman and welcomed us very well. We ordered koobideh kebab plate, bandari sandwich, chicken sandwich, koobideh sandwich and shirin polo and chicken plate. The koobideh tastes fine, not perfect but acceptable. However the best food in my opinion was the sosis bandari sandwich. It was awesome. In overall, we will come back if we go around and I definitely reorder the bandari sandwich. ”
